Execution of Horticulture works in the city & FDA notified area. It includes seasonal plantation,Development of parks, Green belts, breeding of plants, Up keeping of nurseries, Assistance to both public & private sectors for undertaking plantation etc. Moreover maintenance is made of Government offices Parks and Sports Complex’s.
Land scape design of road side green belts and parks are being prepared for actual execution. Although these areas are under TMAs, FDA has taken over the sites for the purpose of beautification. A proper Horticulture Cell is needed in Faisalabad on the pattern of PHC in Lahore.
